Your team happy hour deserves a game show.

Gincanaria is a collection of games for groups. The host opens the table in the browser and shares the link; everyone joins from whatever device they're already on — the call's computer or the phone at the bar. And one game doesn't even need a host.

Every game has its own look, its own rules and its own way of ending in an argument.

The Grand Show

Sixteen questions, from $1 to $1,000. One contestant in the chair and the audience following along. Stuck? There are three skips, the cards and the phone-a-friend — and missing the last one loses everything.

  • 1 contestant
  • 16 questions

Navy stage

The Fifty Bucks Quiz

Three contestants, six questions each, from $5 to $50. Stopping keeps what you have, missing loses half. Two swaps per person, and a discarded question never comes back.

  • 3 contestants
  • 18 questions
  • $150 cap

Dark room

Spy on the Call

Everyone sees the drawn location, except the spy. Three rounds of talking, a secret vote and Russian roulette when nobody gets a majority. No host: create the room, share the code and play on your own call.

  • 3 to 32 players
  • secret vote
  • no host

Yellow workshop

No Freaking Way!

One card with five questions whose answers are numbers. Everyone raises the guess until someone shouts No Freaking Way! — whoever went past the answer takes the crowbars. Each stage eliminates the top scorer, until one is left.

  • 2 to 32 players
  • bluff and guess

MAIORIAO QUE A TURMA RESPONDEU

Live poll

Majority Wins

Everybody answers the same open question at the same time: "what's the most used excuse for being late?". Close answers merge into one group, and everyone scores the size of their own group. Answer alone and you score zero.

  • 3 to 32 players
  • free-text answers

Brain Freeze!

A theme comes up — "something you find in a bathroom" — and everyone gets ten seconds to name one thing. The letter you used goes dark for everybody, so whoever plays last gets the leftovers. Think somebody's word does not count? Call VAR.

  • 2 to 20 players
  • ten seconds a turn

PARO AGORA OU ARRISCO MAIS UMA?

Just one more roll

Don't Stop Now!

Roll four dice, pair them up and climb the columns from 2 to 12. Every roll takes you a little higher — and the next one may fit nothing at all, taking everything you climbed this turn with it. Stop at the right moment and the column is yours. Claim three and you win. In the mould of the classic Can't Stop.

Nothing is what it seems

Fake Card

Every card has two sides and the back lies about one of them: either the colour is true, or the number. Everyone grabs at the same time and builds a hand of 12 that can never be rearranged. Then you play from the ends of your colour runs, always in the round colour and always higher. Empty your hand first to pick the best prize cards — revealed only at the end.

  • 2 to 8 players
  • 96 cards that lie
  • no host

Whoever remembers, wins

Three of a Kind

Thirty-six cards, three of every number, and nobody sees a thing: part of them in each hand, part face down in the middle. On your turn you reveal up to three — from the middle, or by asking someone for their lowest or highest — and you only keep going while they match. Miss and everything goes back exactly where it was, with the whole table having seen it. Three trios win; the trio of 7s wins on its own.

  • 3 to 6 players
  • 36 cards and a lot of memory
  • no host

How it works

Three steps, in this order.

1

Open the table

The host picks the game and gets a code and a link. The Spy has no host: anyone creates the room and gets a code.

2

Everyone joins

Each person opens the link on whatever they're already using — the call's computer or the phone, either works. A name and that's it: nothing to install, nothing to download.

3

Play

The host's screen shows what belongs to everyone; yours shows what's only yours. Lost the connection? You come back right where you were.

Plans

Playing is free. Whoever opens the table picks how to pay.

Joining never costs anything and needs no sign-up. The paid access is only for the host — and covers every game.
